We are looking for an Estates Manager who will ensure day to day management of the fabric maintenance including preparation of condition surveys, cyclical maintenance schedules, and assigned projects to an agreed programme and budget whilst also ensuring high standards of workmanship and finishes are maintained.

This is a key post that has overall responsibility for the upkeep and maintenance of the fabric elements of the estate providing advice on methodologies and efficiencies to improve performance whilst adhering to all policies and procedures. This job has also responsibility for delivering cyclical replacement elements of the estate ensuring that the Heritage value is maintained specifically relating to the National Gallery Grade 1 status.

This role has full accountability for delivery of building maintenance and assigned projects, within agreed budget and programme and to National Gallery standards of finish and workmanship. This should be done with particular attention to the security and safety of the collection, and to the safety and convenience of visitors and staff.
