We are seeking a talented Database Manager to manage and develop the National Gallery`s fundraising database, Raiser`s Edge. The post-holder will oversee the use of the database across the Development department, working closely with fundraising teams. The Database Manager will provide database technical support to the department and have responsibility for training staff and promoting best practice. They will produce bespoke reports and queries from the database and be responsible for overseeing mass data imports and exports. There will also be the opportunity to further develop the database, in particular its interaction with other CRM systems used by the National Gallery.

You will be skilled at managing a relational database with experience of supporting its use across a wider team. You will be a strategic and analytical thinker, able to provide solutions for data recording and reporting needs. You will be highly organised and able to juggle multiple projects, prioritising your workload without supervision.

This position will play a key role in the Development Department, which raises vital support for the National Gallery and its activities, helping to maintain and enhance the Gallery`s world-class collection for the benefit of visitors from the UK and overseas.
