The National Gallery is rolling out its new digital services programme, a commercially-focussed strategy based on three core value propositions: developing new data-driven business models; digitising our visitor journey and creating virtual

The User Experience Designer will work on the creation of the second of those propositions, leading digital design for the products and services which form our digital visitor journey. To do this they will map user journeys for our key audiences across different digital touchpoints, and create both UX that is driven by audience needs and research for our products and services. They will work with a UI designer to ensure those UX models become beautiful interfaces. They will be responsible for continuous improvement to the quality of our digital user experience, and a key member of both our digital and creative teams. Design work with be in collaboration with Head of Visitor Engagement in order to ensure a seamless visitor experience between on-site front of house delivery of services and digital content.
